LED
Light Emitting Diodes (or LEDs) were first developed in 1962, however it has only been recently that their outputs have reached level that have made them useful for conventional lighting. LEDs have a high efficiency of converting electrical energy into light and a long lifespan. LED Luminaires
Digilin's range of high quality LED based luminaires include marker lights and high brightness spotlights, downlights, up-down lights for use in a variety of locations and have all been designed to maximise the lifespan of the LED light fitting.

Digilin's range of LED drivers include both fixed voltage and fixed current versions, and everything necessary to provide a DMX interface to controlling LED brightness and colour mixing.

Digilin's LED controllers provides an interface between Digilin's LED Drivers and a variety of other control systems (such as home automation hardware), or provides the ability to create a stand alone system by using the ever popular Colour Theme Controller.

Fibre optics can be used to create a multitude of effects from twinkling through to motion. As the lightsource itself can be installed away from the item or area being lit fibre optics provides numerous benefits, such as being ideal for lighting wet or other hazardous areas. It is also low maintenance as the light points require no access and vandal resistant.
